LICENSES FOR FOREIGN RIDERS IN THE NETHERLANDS If a rider with a foreign nationality wants to ride in the Netherlands, he or she needs a guest license. Guest license The guest license is valid for 12 months (which used to be a calendar year). A guest license is combination-bound.
The rates of the guest license can be found in the KNHS Rates List. Look for the different licenses, rates and procedures for applying for a license in the downloads below. If a license needs to be ready within 48 hours, there is an emergency procedure and corresponding fee.

Tests You will find the tests to be ridden for the Young horses below. You have to compose your own test with the mandatory parts. The test should be ridden from memory without the help of a caller. Ridden time starts and ends with halt, immobility and salut at the beginning and end of the test.
